British-Iranian artist NEDA has dropped her new track, ‘Leave’. The track straddles a variety of musical landscapes, with the driving rhythm section of Warrmduscher members Ben Romans-Hopecraft and Graham Godfrey colliding with Persian traditional instruments such as santur and tombak. Her love of American country music sits at the core of her sound, but the futuristic atmospheres of the electronic artists she idolises have started to creep into her music. She explains, on the background to the track: “Falling for someone who gets a kick out of putting you down is not a situation I’d recommend.
